Senior/Expert SAP APO & IBP Consultant

Job (Project) Description

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP APO (Demand Planning) and/or SAP IBP (Demand & Supply Planning);

• Strong expertise in statistical forecasting, outlier detection, and data validation;

• Practical experience with:

- APO DP macros & alerts

- IBP Data Integration

- IBP Time Series Cleanse;

• Familiarity with Fiori apps for APO/IBP error monitoring

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with S/4HANA migration, especially APO to IBP migrations;

• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for planning and visualization;

• Hands-on experience with APO Statistical Forecasting;  

• Exposure to machine learning techniques in demand planning

Responsibilities:

• Configure and optimize APO Demand Planning (DP) alerts for:

- Inactive SKU detection

- Statistical outlier identification;

• Develop and implement APO Statistical Forecasting macros for:

- Outlier correction

- Event-based forecast adjustments;

• Enhance and maintain existing IBP configurations. Set up and manage IBP Data Integration validation rules using the Data Integration Workbench;

• Configure data quality checks including:

- Outlier detection

- Formatting validations

- Data quality alerts;

• Implement and fine-tune IBP Time Series Cleanse for automated outlier correction suggestions.
