SAP Build Developer (Apps, Process Automation, Work Zone)

Requirements:

• Experience developing apps and automations using SAP Build Apps visual tools, business logic, and integrations;

• Proven experience with SAP Build Process Automation including workflow creation, RPA bot design, and business process automation;

• Solid understanding of SAP Build Work Zone design and administration for unified user experience portals;

• Familiarity with process mapping, UX design, and integration of SAP and non-SAP data sources;

• Basic knowledge of data services (OData, API consumption) and composable business frameworks;

• Strong cooperation skills with stakeholders including business analysts, architects, IT teams, and citizen developers;

• Ability to keep solutions aligned with SAP release innovations and CoE adoption strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with generative AI tools and prebuilt automation components;

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur and other SAP ecosystem products;

• Understanding of security, compliance, and integration best practices within SAP cloud environments;

• Prior involvement in Centers of Excellence focused on SAP Build technology adoption.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy mobile and web apps using SAP Build Apps visual editor, leveraging drag-and-drop UI, business logic, and data integrations;

• Create automation workflows by modeling processes in SAP Build Process Automation and implementing RPA bots for repetitive/manual tasks, utilizing generative AI and prebuilt components to accelerate delivery;

• Configure, customize, and manage SAP Build Work Zone workspaces to deliver unified access to SAP apps, workflows, cooperation tools, and third-party services;

• Act as a subject matter expert and primary contact for business workflow automation, task orchestration, and digital workplace design;

• Cooperate with business process analysts, architects, and IT teams to assess feasibility, design best practices, and troubleshoot application and automation delivery;

• Integrate apps and automations with SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and external APIs (including MS Teams, ServiceNow), ensuring secure and robust connectivity;

• Continuously review SAP Build suite release notes and new features to align with Center of Excellence standards and adoption strategy;

• Coach and enable citizen developers, fostering business-led innovation while ensuring compliance with security and integration standards;

• Provide training and documentation for deployed solutions and promote knowledge sharing within the organization.
