Job (Project) Description

Requirements:

  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration projects;
  • Proficient in core ABAP development and the SAP BTP ABAP environment;
  • Strong understanding of SAP BTP ABAP limitations and restricted ABAP syntax;
  • Skilled in using ATC for custom code analysis and migration readiness;
  • Experience with ADT in Eclipse for cloud-based ABAP development;
  • Hands-on experience with RAP, CDS Views, and OData Services.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 integration with BTP ABAP;
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for ABAP in BTP;
  • Experience with ABAPGit for version control and collaborative development workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and migrate custom ABAP applications from SAP ECC to the SAP BTP ABAP environment;
  • Conduct code reviews and pre-migration assessments using SAP ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC);
  • Adapt legacy code to comply with SAP BTP ABAP restrictions and best practices;
  • Design and implement scalable solutions using the RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) model;
  • Create and optimize CDS Views and OData/API services for efficient data access and integration;
  • Configure and maintain the SAP BTP ABAP environment using ADT (ABAP Development Tools) in Eclipse.
