IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) Developer
We are looking for an experienced IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) Developer to join an international project team within the Cloud and Digital Technology Center of Excellence.

Job (Project) Description
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining business rules using IBM ODM, collaborating closely with business analysts and solution architects to support critical projects in the healthcare logistics and supply chain domain.
Our customer is a leading global provider of supply chain solutions for the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. Their services include support for clinical trial logistics, storage, and distribution of medical products, specialized packaging, direct-to-patient services, and advanced technologies for supply chain monitoring and transparency.
Requirements:
Must-Have:
- Hands-on experience with IBM ODM 8.x or higher;
- Proficiency with Rule Studio, Decision Center, and Decision Server;
- Understanding of BRMS principles and best practices;
- Strong integration skills using Java, REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML;
- Excellent analytical and communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a client-facing environment.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., life sciences, pharmaceuticals) is a strong advantage;
- Familiarity with clinical logistics and supply chain domains is considered a plus;
- Hands-on experience with containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes;
- Practical experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies;
- IBM ODM certification is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain business rules using IBM ODM (Decision Center & Decision Server);
- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to gather, understand, and refine rule requirements;
- Develop and deploy Decision Services and integrate them with enterprise systems via APIs;
- Conduct unit testing and support QA/UAT cycles;
- Optimize rule performance and ensure high reliability;
- Provide post-deployment support and collaborate on future improvements;
- Maintain clear documentation of rule logic and design.
