IBM Cloud Engineer
We are looking for an experienced IBM Cloud Engineer to join our international project team.

Job (Project) Description
The project is for a leading global provider of supply chain solutions in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. The team delivers services including support for clinical trial logistics, storage and distribution of medical products, specialized packaging, direct-to-patient services, and advanced technologies for supply chain monitoring and transparency.
Requirements:
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, including at least 2 years specifically with IBM Cloud;
- Deep understanding of IBM Cloud services (e.g., VPC, Cloud Functions, Kubernetes);
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins);
- Strong knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes);
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform);
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards;
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP);
- Knowledge of cloud cost optimization techniques;
- IBM Cloud certification (e.g., IBM Certified Solution Architect — Cloud Platform);
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures and enterprise networking concepts.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on IBM Cloud;
- Lead architecture discussions and guide development teams on IBM Cloud best practices;
- Build automation scripts using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform);
- Support hybrid cloud environments and integrate cloud solutions with on-premises services;
- Monitor cloud resources to ensure optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute seamless cloud migrations;
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure high availability of cloud services.
