Data Business Analyst Senior

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Business  Analyst to join our client, a US-based company in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will support data analysis, reporting, and business-IT collaboration to drive informed decision-making. Proficiency in SQL and Power BI is required, while experience with SAP and the manufacturing sector is considered a plus.

Requirements:  

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Business Analyst or in a related role;

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken;

• Strong experience writing advanced SQL queries for data extraction and analysis;

• Experience in data visualization with Power BI or another BI Tool;

• Ability to lead meetings and brainstorm sessions;

• Experience with Snowflake (desirable, not mandatory);

• Experience with SAP (desirable).

Responsibilities:  

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications;

• Design and implement mappings between multiple data sources;

• Analyze and interpret data to support business decision-making;

• Collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives;

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI;

• Provide support in data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL.
