Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant with HR functions to join our team in Kazakhstan at Customertimes. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial operations while also managing comprehensive HR responsibilities. Requirements:

  • Knowledge of all areas of accounting and tax reporting forms;
  • Knowledge of IFRS, Tax Code of Kazakhstan, Labor Code of Kazakhstan, and experience working with currency legislation;
  • Experience interacting with auditing and regulatory bodies;
  • Proficiency in 1C 8.3, Taxpayer Cabinet, SONO, ESF, and Bank-Client;
  • Skills in Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, Outlook;
  • Higher professional education is mandatory;
  • At least 5 years of experience as a chief accountant;
  • Good communication skills, the ability to clearly express positions in writing and verbally, and the ability to work in a multitasking environment;
  • High level of independence and responsibility, flexibility, initiative, perseverance, meticulousness, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the accurate and timely processing of primary documentation, collecting original documents within set deadlines, and promptly recording financial and business transactions in 1C 8.3.;
  • Ensuring timely issuance of electronic invoices (ESF) for domestic and export sales;
  • Timely signing of electronic acceptance reports (EAVR) from partners and ensuring the availability of return originals;
  • Controlling and analyzing accounts receivable and payable, handling settlements and reconciliations with partners;
  • Conducting timely reconciliations with counterparties and regulatory bodies (quarterly);
  • Submitting tax, financial, and statistical reports in accordance with current accounting standards and legislation of Kazakhstan;
  • Preparing for the submission of tax reports and declarations (Forms 100, 200, 300, 101.04);
  • Ensuring correct calculation and timely payment of taxes and other mandatory payments to the budget;
  • Managing bank-client operations, accounting for bank transactions in various currencies, and daily posting of bank statements;
  • Coordinating with banks regarding currency control when registering contracts with non-residents (including assignment and closure of unique numbers) and conducting foreign economic activities, as well as preparing information on repatriation deadlines (IT services, royalties);
  • Calculating salaries, vacation pay, sick leave, business trip allowances, and other payments to employees;
  • Preparing advance reports, accounting for fixed assets (FA) and inventory, and calculating depreciation;
  • Representing the organization's interests in tax, banking, and other regulatory bodies;
  • Carrying out other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor;
  • Monitoring changes in accounting and tax legislation.

HR Responsibilities:

  • Managing full-cycle HR documentation in accordance with the Labor Code of Kazakhstan: handling employment, transfers, dismissals, vacations, business trips, sick leaves, job combinations, and employee termination according to labour legislation, regulations, and director's orders;
  • Drafting employment contracts and civil contracts, working with Enbek.kz and 1C;
  • Creating and maintaining employee personal files, and making changes related to employment activities;
  • Compiling timesheets;
  • Filling out, accounting for, and storing labour books;
  • Receiving and processing incoming and outgoing correspondence;
  • Organizing trips and business trips, including booking tickets and hotels.
